Bike Trip to the Heavenly Roof of the World – Leh, Laddakh
Hello everybody,
Regular readers would have noticed that the blog hasn’t been updated for quite some time now. And there is a reason for that which I would like to share with everybody.
Guitar Chords: Zindagi Do Pal Ki, Kites [2010]

This song is a beautiful fusion of classical suitar with the beautiful strumming of acoustic guitar and a spray of electric guitar here and there. It’s a very short song which has been sung superbly by KK. I love his voice! Strumming pattern is very similar to the one used in Aye Khuda.
Guitar Chords/Tabs: Aye Khuda, Paathshaala [2010]

Aye Khuda is a nice little composition with simple chords which any beginner guitarist can play with a few hours practice. Make sure you add it into your list of songs for practice. More importantly, practice the strumming pattern which is not very tough if you are comfortable with rhythms.
Mastering Barre Chords – Become An Intermediate Guitar Player
Finally, after a lot of time and many requests, I have finally come up with a barre chords lesson. This is one of the most important lessons here on this blog. Before getting into details, lets clear for whom this lesson is intended for.
Guitar Chords: Noor E Khuda, My Name Is Khan (MNIK)

This is another melodious song from Shanker Ehsaan Loy camp. It is sung by Shankar Mahadevan and Adnan Sami along with the beautiful voice of Shreya Goshal. As it happens with most SEL songs, the more you listen, the more you love it!

Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai, Guitar Acoustic Cover [VIDEO RECORDING]
One of my blog’s reader, Arghya Chattopadhyay sent me this video for review. This is a very good attempt by him and his friend. The singer has a very good voice as well. But I can’t comment on the singing since I am a very awful singer myself!
The strumming is a bit fast so the rhythm might be difficult to catch, but if you listen hard you will get it. Well done!
If you have recorded a video of you playing the guitar, you can mail the link over to me at xsreality [at] abhinavsonkar.com and I will include it here in the blog.
