This is a good song for beginners to learn and practice barre chords. I am not at all in awe of this song. I don’t like it much but since it is based on acoustic guitar completely, I thought to post it here.
The song uses barre chords and is in the key of Gm. If you know barre chords, this song it would be very easy to play. If you don’t know barre chords, you will have to use a capo on the 3rd fret to turn the chords into simple basic open chords.
The strumming pattern of this song is not at all difficult. Here it is: | D- D- | UUUD |
When the song catches speed the strumming pattern doesn’t change, just the tempo increases.
Starting tune

As I am a beginner, its difficult to understand the starting tune of the guitar.
can someone please help me understand what do those nos. mean placed on the strings.
Thanks
the 6 strings are represented by the six lines.. E being the first string, B being the second one.. G, D .. nd so on….
the numbers represent the fret no. to be played on that string.. 0 means playing open string and 1 means first fret nd so on…
play from left to right according 2 the diagram…
10th fret….
Thanks…
its so useful
dunno how to start a new thread(post) that is y i m writing here on the existing post..
OR is it ” D-D- / DUDU ………… ????
