The most unique thing about this song is its strumming. It uses the muting effect with the left hand in an excellent fashion. This makes it imperative to use barre chords for the muting to be effective. Moreover, it is an excellent song to practice acoustic guitar though the chords are pretty advanced and require you to know barre chords.
