I have been with Fused for about 8 months and I have been with other hosting companies and larger hosting companies-I have found Fused support to be great and they get back usually within about 10 minutes.
I did have my site taken down because i was hogging cpu and when I had calmed down realised that I am on a shared server ie other people are on the server with me and if I am hogging cpu then other people suffer and Fused obviously have a responcibilty to make sure no ones service suffers.
I get the impression it is a smal team at fused ,but to be honest I prefer it because they get back to customers quicker than some large organisation where a user is just treated like a number in a large number of customers.
I agree David’s emails can be a little ahem…to the point sometimes but in fairness he probably has hundreds things he has to sort out on a daily basis.
When my site was first taken down,I had just spent a week coding a new product of mine up all night for days so I was a little cranky myself.I did go through the usual thoughts of should I go somewhere else,but I have been somewhere else in the past and I personally think Fused truely are one of the best hosting services.
There is no way anyone can truely fault the suport they offer,absolutley flawless support and uptimes are great.
The only thing I would change is the page that is displayed if a site is suspended-Fused should have a more friendly message of ‘site temporarily unavailable’ instead of ‘Site suspended’.It just looks bad if your customers come to your site and see that.
Other than that I still recommend Fused to people,good host IMHO.

I just want to say that David’s response up there is solid. It is hard to read / hear criticism – especially when you probably don’t agree with it – and maintain such a professional tone. I know nothing about this situation, but read this thread over and thought it was worth commenting on.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was under the impression that a dedicated IP address meant a dedicated server as well. Completely forgot about virtual servers. Though having a dedicated IP is better than none at all!

Well, be advised that having a dedicated IP address does not mean that you are not hosted on a shared server. Actually, for the price mentioned above there is no other option but a shared hosting server … or maybe a very crappy VPS .

We don’t place ourselves at the top of the review list, we’ve simply arrived there as a result of positive reviews.

At certain points in the sites’ history (Hostjury, that is) we’ve been as far low as 5th as a result of other providers inching above. I had no problem either way even if we’re rated lower but most clients seem to think we do a great job — there’s the odd one that disagrees but that is the nature of any service.

As for Hostjury, it was launched prior to our purchase of Fused Network as I believe I iterated above. If we could separate the two further, I would. I’d love to rid of hostjury and spend more time catering directly to my clients at Fused Network.

At first, I was worried about this post before signing up with Fused, but I’ve been with Fused for a month or two now. I had a horrible experience with Eleven2 when they lost my wife’s website due to corruption (they claim that they backup sites). When I spoke to David on the phone, he was very patient and answered ALL my questions.

I was with them for two years and unfortunately, I have recommended many of my friends to go with Eleven2. I’m urging them to move off Eleven2 when I can.

Granted, hosting is a hit or miss, but my experience has been totally opposite of yours. David his support site have been very helpful in transferring my sites from Eleven2 and Fused answered my support tickets within a few minutes. On the other hand, Eleven2 would wait a day or two before responding.

I am not affiliated with any hosting company, but my sites are happily running on the Fused Network. Their FTP doesn’t drop like Eleven2 and the Fused Network connection is fast.
