Have you seen the movie, The Matrix? I bet you have.
Leaving partial views, I have watched this movie around 15 times. Honestly, this was due to the cool special effects and amazing fight sequences which always kept me enthralled. But, during those days, I never bothered to know what the movie was actually about. What was it trying to tell? Even after watching the complete movie 4-5 times, I couldn’t answer the question, What is Matrix?

All music lovers and especially band members… this should be the most awaited movie for all of us! Shankar Ehsaan Loy (SEL) have again been able to weave magic with their beautiful music. This song is a wonderful harmony of acoustic guitar and piano. No way a guitarist can afford to miss this song! The strumming pattern is very easy but the chords are a bit complicated. Newbies can simply play the major or minor of the said chord.

Wow! What to say about this song? The more I hear it, the more I love it. I think it is the most pleasurable sad song we have come across! The singers selected by A R Rahman are exquisite in their own way. Rashid Ali has really sung it well! Ok, about the chords of this song, they are quite simple and you need to know a few barre chords to be able to play this. I prefer to play the root and notes of a chord separately since it is a slow song. But if you listen to the second stanza, you can play continous strumming as well.

Atif Aslam is back with another masterpiece from the movie, Kismat Konnection. This is a very easy song to master on the guitar. The chords are very simple and so is the strumming pattern which is very common. Atif rocks again with this song and along with the previous song, Kabhi Kabhi Aditi Zindagi, the month of June has given us some beautiful tunes to hum, even though not many good films to talk about.
