Hi Deepak! Your profile interests me. After working for 2 years you are doing an Mtech program in Web Development. That's exactly what Sachin has been mentioning about in the previous comments. Would you elaborate about what exactly is your course and how has your experience been with that Mtech program?

My office is at Khamla Sq., full address is on website. My only advice to you and others is that you should try to follow your heart. If you like computers then do something related with it. If you think you are going to work with computers or some IT company after doing MBA then its fine, but if you do something which is not directly related with computers then after sometime dissatisfaction starts creeping in and you may again wish that you should not have opted for MBA.

Life is long, so if you are not doing what you love, you won't be productive in your job and you won't enjoy your work. I don't believe very much in education and qualification, they are secondary, your interest and talent are the primary qualification and they may be different from your actual education.

I wouldn't mind it a bit! ;) Yup Sachin, that was the question I faced while starting with my final year or maybe even before... whether to give GRE, GMAT or MBA. I had thought of MTech simply because of my extreme liking of computers. But I made a mistake of doing Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunication. My grad results are not really worth telling. I sincerely wish I had done my engg. in computers. In a general way though, pay packet is becoming a very good reason for doing MBA after any grad stream. In fact, the casual thinker is simply doing grad from any stream, then MBA, a good paying job: WELL SETTLED!
I have now decided to share my computer knowledge through websites. This is something that I have found to really interest me!
By the way, where do you live in Nagpur? Would like to meet you once I get over with my final semester exams.

It seems its turning into GD of some sort here :-) Anyway I agree that Masters open new avenues, but I would like to ask why the MBA is only choice? Why no MTech or probably even research. I mean if you are really the techy kind of guy or gal you will probably like to pursue the technical qualification instead of a management qualification. However I think MBA from IIM ensures a fat pay packet and that's the primary reason why its attracting engineering grads.

Hi Siva! Thats a really good answer. There is no doubt about how important MBA has become now, especially for women. Masters opens new avenues which wouldn't be available to us with graduation itself.
